Secondary cities or Tier Two cities include Ahmedabad, Jaipur Coimbatore, Kochi, Indore, Lucknow, Chandigarh, Visakhapatnam, Thiruvananthapuram, Nagpur and Bhubaneswar and have good education and abundant talent pools. The salaries in these cities are cheaper (15-20%) than Major Cities, although the talent pool is not as extensive, so you may struggle to find high-complexity roles. Tertiary cities or or Tier Three cities include Vadodara, Nashik, Salem, Mysuru, Mangaluru, Tirunelveli, Madurai, Hubballi, Warangal, Tiruchirappalli, Surat and Belagavi and have significantly cheaper salaries (25-30%), however the talent pool is significantly more limited so it is considerably harder to find highly skilled professional, or senior roles.
